Looks like you arent interested in the Ford factory stripes so it really is a tough choice. I have gone yellow and will be fitting a stripe kit in gloss black. My current leader is the Super Snake stripe in gloss with a matte black outer pin stripe but I am very fickle and will change my mind daily until it is fitted!
Sounds a bit like me but I changed my mind AFTER it was fitted and I am about to change it again.

Regarding the opening post, I prefer the red but the yellow will be rarer and more eye catching (IMO)

I chickened out and changed to white with blue stripes - i feel less anxious about the decision :)

You getting hood scoops/vents before you do the Shelby stripes? Would really set the car off imo but it's not for everyone !
i thought the UK models had no vents? you talking about replacing the whole bonnet or is there a mod i'm unaware of

Yep, right next door to it!

That'll look sick, do the rocker stripes for sure... You getting hood scoops/vents before you do the Shelby stripes? Would really set the car off imo but it's not for everyone !
I'm having stripes fitted in delivery day or day after so good vents may come later. But anxious about cutting into my bonnet so may purchase a replacement. Might even wait for a rear ended yellow to end up in salvage lol.

UK/Euro mustangs don't get the vents, you could add the vents to the bonnet if you cut holes for them :eyebulge: You'd need massive balls though

I was thinking you were getting them done after and were going to buy a new bonnet for the vents! Black vents would look really cool with the black stripes!
bobpies yeah UK ones don't get vents, I was talking about either cutting in or getting a new bonnet, or, getting a hood scoop before fitting the stripes, all work really :headbonk:

im not sure how easy it is to fit the us spec vents to our, as the us bonnets have a recess where the vents go. so not sure if they would fit flush to our cars even when cutting the bonnet. i did ask modurstang and he said this was the case and he will look into it at some point

Throwing Grabber Blue into the mix now - or Gumball blue i like to think of it as

I've been flip flopping between every colour under the sun and my D day is Friday for a final decision.

The Yellow i fear is a bit much. The blue has the same pop i think. i've been talked out of the yellow by nearly everyone

Contemplated red, but seen one in town and it didn't stand out from the crowd enough for me.

not many pics about but heres a gt350 render

To be honest if yellow is what your heart is saying, don't let anyone talk you out of it, this will be your car, that you will drive, that you clean and come to love, not theirs! I personally don't think the yellow is too in your face, I like it.

Grabber Blue is pretty awesome though, but I'm biased as that's what I ordered :D

Initially, it was definitely yellow - no question - done deal

then everyone was like .... yellow? and I was like... errr lemmie look at it again.

Then talked my way down to actually changing my order to Magnetic! As cool as magnetic is - it's not noticeable enough and I kind of want the car to stand out a little.

Grabber blue def stands out and i think is cooler than the yellow!

Also, i just spotted a yellow in my local area at the weekend. Can't be having 2 yellow mustangs in the town

Ebony leather, but I'm blacking everything out, replacing chrome emblems front back and side for gloss black and ordered replacement wing mirror covers to be black, along with a Steeda Q750 rear spoiler also black, all along with the black OTT stripes etc.

If I could change my order now for Grabber Blue... I would do it in a heartbeat (I've ordered Magnetic).

Started coming across a few postings on YouTube showing the S550 in this colour and it just looks stunning and so perfectly retro-fits the way Ford have remodelled the 6th generation with so many of the original 60's features.

There's not many modern day cars that could carry off a colour like Grabber Blue, but the S550 does it beautifully IMO, and like the now discontinued Comp. Orange, it's gonna be a colour that'll grab (as its name suggests) attention massively.

I think it'll also be unique as it's not a colour that most would have the balls to go out and order (it was originally no. 1 on my list, but she that must be obeyed vetoed that one and I foolishly failed to ignore her)!

For an executive looking car - Magnetic/Lightning Blue/Ingot Silver... for a stealthy looking car - Black (obviously)... for a sporty looking car - Red/Yellow/DIB (with stripes)... for a racy/retro looking car - Comp. Orange/Grabber Blue... for an inconspicuous looking street racer - Oxford White. Not sure about Guard or Ruby Red, which I absolutely love but just don't know where I'd classify them!
