Well, i bought the ngauge 1 year ago and yesrerday I kept a bit of time to flash my car. :D

Everything went fine at first try and the feeling is very different.

The first thing that changed is the exhaust tone, it is deeper. But, has gone the high tone that i was loving on high rpms. I have the corsa sport cb.

I feel very different the auto trans. The gears are pushed in faster and the shifting points were changed. At 45mph in D, i was used to see the 6th gear coming in, now it shifts only at 50mph. Basically they added some rpms at the low end for each gear. To get the best mpg i have to swith to sport and change manually.

The converter is doing a different job too. It is more responsive and it isnt't converting so much. Sounds like the lockup is starting to work before. Could be?

Pulling the 2nd and 3rd gear I noticed some extra rpms going over 7k and what impressed me is that the car isn't dieing over 6.5k as before. Very impressive.

I did a long trip on higway and noticed a better mpg. Now it is drinking between 0.5 - 1mpg less at 75-80mph.

So, for the moment i'm very satisfied, in the next days I will send some logs with 91 that i use always and the 93 that I use sometimes to see if there is everything fine.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're worrying about mpg, you bought the wrong car.

Have fun, and enjoy the new tune. Your mpg isn't going to suffer that much.

I only teared down the map based on the feelings I have, to discover how they improved the response I feel. I listed the pros and cons, and in the cons, below the 50mph there are a worst mpg, and over a better mpg.

I'm don't care about mpg, but everything is relative. If a tune would "double" the mpg, nobody would tune, regardless of the car. :)

My car is set up the same as yours and my car was shifting much to hard for me. As someone who tracks their milage religiously the changed shift points in drive drove me crazy. If i wanted the car to shift out later i could control that with my right foot with the stock tune. I know i went back and fourth with lund of the tune and what we came back to was stock programming with the trans for shift points, line pressure, and torque management.

I just got done yesterday datalogging with Lund. The car idles perfect, power comes on smooth, no glitches anywhere. Literally a night and day difference compared to the install shops' tune that they put in at first. I know there are other tuners out there that do a kick a** job also, no doubt. But the customer service/communications I experienced with Lund and their tunes (had a tune with them when I had my GT350 IM), have been absolute top shelf. Can't say enough about them.

You should have him do a race tune as well. Dump a bottle or Torco or Octanium in the tank and bam another 10-15 HP. That's based on my butt o meter but I plan to dyno the car soon. lol
