All emblems and heat extractors done. 2 cans of black and 1 glossifier. only the heat extractors got gloss. 6 coats of black and 3 with gloss. You can do as few or as many coats of gloss to get it to your liking! Yes I left the extractors on the car while I did it, the dip just peels right off and makes a perfect edge!

Newspaper and then used trash bags to cover the rest to prevent over spray. Toothpicks workgreat for the tight spots to help peel the center of the letters.

Looking great R!

Gives it a totally different look, it's crazy what a few bucks and some time can do!

Keep up the good work and let me know if you ever need anything.

I'll be interested to see how the plastidip holds up to the heat on those extractors. I did my front pony, rear gt, and side 5.0 emblems. I'm contemplating doing the entire rear decklid and taillight surrounds.

Had my 2013 5.0 extractors plastidipped for two years, they did just fine!

Did you remove your heat extractors to plasti dip them or did you just tape them off on the hood?
