Plasti-dipped my factory 20s today. I think they came out NICE!! With the painted calipers to set it off.... gives it a whole new attitude!!

Naw, just put cards inbetween the tire and wheel like this.

it is really easy to work with. Main thing is NOT to start out too aggressive with the base coat or you will get runs. A light base coat is all you need to start with. ..then progressively apply thicker coats. If you are going black I would recommend getting the glossifier to get a satin like finish. Really looks good like that. Good luck just take your time and you'll be ok. Also be sure to clean up the wheel nut back plate area. I learned the hard way that the acorn nuts can grab a piece of the plastic and as you tighten the bolt can begin to pull the Plastidip off the rim.
