So after tons of searching various midlife crisis vehicles.....
I like the idea of having a car that has a factory warranty, won't kill me in maint $, and is slightly less common than the million other mustangs out there, and I can ENJOY it w/o a lot of worry.
The trick will be getting it home.
See I'm in the burbs of Houston and the Bullitt is in Chicago.
I could have it shipped but that will turn my good purchase price into an average purchase price.
So what better way to get acquainted with it than fly up and drive it home.
One way flights on SWA are going for $50 and 5 tanks of gas should be under $300.
I'm looking forward to the trip and driving very carefully....
I'll post more as the trip starts. (hopefully Jan 9th)
I seriously considered Aston Martin Vantage, Jaguar F type, Porsche 911s and Caymans...... and came deathly close to buying a '14 GT500
I finally settled on a "used" 2020 Bullitt with 167 miles.I like the idea of having a car that has a factory warranty, won't kill me in maint $, and is slightly less common than the million other mustangs out there, and I can ENJOY it w/o a lot of worry.
