The exhaust modes on my Bullitt with AE are perfect for what I wanted. The exhaust note has a good sound regardless of the mode it is in (excluding quiet mode of course lol).
Regarding the B&O, if you replace the sub with an aftermarket one (doesn't have to be expensive either), add some...
One of the reasons I was interested in the 4:09 is that the stock program would be able to auto adjust for that (keep me honest here). If going with even shorter gears, those were not officially supported by Ford.
I'm curious what everyone's opinion is on this. With the long gearing of the MT82 6 speed, is there any middle ground with the gearing (i.e. between the current 3:73's and 4:88's) like using 4:09's.
Hi. I was curious how things are going now. Still having issues or did you get them all lined out?
I wonder, what gearing is supported by Ford and is a tune needed? I guess another way to ask is what gearing is supported by the software?
Any xpipe or hpipe will increase the sound over the stock resonator. I went with a resonated xpipe. The sound is exactly what I wanted. Check out CJ Pony Parts Magnaflow resonated xpipe as an example.
Not really, I'm afraid. The stock amplifier has some time alignment and other built in processing. The car's center channel is actually created by the factory amplifier.
Correct. Most DSPs like this work the same way. Pick the one that has the functionality you want. I picked the DSR1 for its functionality and low cost.
