What a day!.... Man am I tired. Got the car finished and squeezed into the trailer. I make it sound simple, but it's been a 11 hour day. Off to get some rest, as we leave at the ass crack of Dawn. We also are leaving early..... Dawn and I.

Had to put the wife to work getting the tie down straps in place...... it also makes her feel useful, lol.

We just arrived in NC for the night. We are only 3 hours from MB, so tomorrow‘s ride will be a breeze. We just settled in to our room, and are enjoying a glass of wine, before we walk across the parking lot to have dinner.

Our ride was 800 miles in 14 hours. We used Waze and filtered the trip for no tolls, and picked a route that completely avoided NY & NJ, so I am pleasantly surprised with the trip. My truck averaged 7.2 MPG, lol. I sure didn’t take it easy on her though, I hammered down to the tune of $650 (estimated complete trip down) in fuel. Man she drinks the 93 like it’s her job, but she towed amazing. To be honest, I am blown away with how great it towed. Easily the best truck I have ever owned, and I’ve had at least 15 F series trucks.

Tucked the fleet into the corner of the parking lot which has a camera focused there. Pulled up agains two cement bollards. You may notice I have a set of tow mirrors painted to match. Have to have them with a trailer this wide for sure. Takes 5 minuted to slap them on before towing.

I had read that, and seen some pictures of the aftermath. That, and the usual traffic concerns routes me around for the first time. I hope you faired well buddy!
