I was at Shelby american about a month ago - I wish I would have tried to look for this car!

Jaime that is one beautiful Mustang !! I don't think anyone of us who has a mustang, no matter what model, did not have some panel misaligned. Its a Ford, what do you expect. Your going to love it no matter what.

It still goes fast, corners, and stops well so there will always be that which IMO is the BEST PART!!!!!!

After seeing the black wheel/stripe side by side with yours, I personally like the white stripe better

The black stripes & wheels looks great, just a different look. it’s easy to say I prefer the white because I went that route, but it is pretty spectacular.

Anytime. So I do not know how many of the 40+ sold cars are wide body. I know 1-4 are for sure, and at least 2 or 3 others that I have seen.

Would everyone leave this man and his car alone. The fitment is better than 95% of mustangs out there which is all that matters... no matter how much you want Bugatti fitment on an American Mustang you aren't going to get it. I suggest getting off the forum and letting the man enjoy his beautiful car and go drive around your 530i BMW douche bag machine.

The car is gorgeous and nobody is picking on him. The fact is, the car is at Shelby being converted for a ridiculous amount of money. So while it is there, Shelby should correct anything they can before it leaves.

Jamie,

You may want to ask if you are able to buy replacement front wheels and if so how much they cost. A friend (@Bullitt40 ) Has a set of the shelby wheels just like yours (19 inch version on a 350) and the caliper clearance is very thin, about 1/16".

I had a set of 6gr wheels that had a similar caliper clearance and they got pretty chewed up from pebble damage.

I wish you the best, so not trying to dump. However it is a queation you should ask..... price and availability if you should have to replace down the road.

Heck, you may want to buy an extra set of fronts if you can.

Hi Tom, you bring up good points.

The caliper clearance with the SE wheels is far greater than the stock wheels, but I did have a wheel conversation with SA none the less. BC Forged makes the wheels, and I can get them anytime I may need them, so that’s a good thing. I will have to get a specific photo of the caliper clearance once I get the car home, but this one should help show the improved clearance.

I got to drive my car today, and it was awesome. I was curious how the adjustable springs were going to affect the ride. I am happy to report the ride is great. The initial impression is (from what I can remember of the ride) it rides smoother. When cornering I can feel the springs stiffen and the cornering feels amazing. Color me impressed with the suspension. Granted, this was only a 1/2 hour drive down what I would consider normal roads, but it feels and performs amazing.

I have to say, it was a pretty cool experience to be driving my car down the Las Vegas strip.

Back into the mothership she went to start the punch list.

Nice find, but if anyone wanted the SHELBY AMERICAN FORGED branding, along with the SHELBY center cap, they should order through Chris Ruby. Only then can the Shelby branding be applied.

It was a fun day making some PPF install promotional videos. I am looking forward to how this video will come out. Shelby American President Gary Patterson, Sales Representative Chris Ruby, Benjamine Bemaro and others will make an appearance.

Almost 30kg of weight savings on the wheels . That would surely have a great impact on performance considering much lower rotating mass.

They can get caught between the wheel barrel and caliper and wreak havoc when the clearance is tight.
