Best online retailer in my opinion is Crutchfield. Unfortunately they're out of stock. I suggest using the dealer locator on JL's site to see if you could source one locally. Out of stock on JL's site too.

No, replacing an old 10W6V2 in a JL HO Box I bought back in 08. It still looked new, but when it was hooked up today it went caput, dry rotted, I kinda figured it would be but worth a shot. Just looking for one to replace. This paired up with an old school JL 500/1V2, really sounds off.

You can re-cone it if it’s just the cone or surround rotted. Would be cheaper than a new one.

I thought of that, but didn't consider it much. Any recommendations on who to send it too and the reliability afterwords?

You can send it directly to JL audio but it’s more expensive. Google JL sub repair shops and make some calls. There’s also this Facebook page that has a lot of experience with re-cones.

Bought online from ABT, authorized retailer. Outstanding customer service and super fast shipping. Going to send my old 10W6V2 to Underrated Audio Repair LLC, and see what he can do with it. He's got all 5 star reviews and is very responsive with communication. Any one have experience with him?......
