Alright I’ve been working on this for some time. I don’t have a lot of free time so its taken me a few months to get this all together. Let me know if there are any questions. Everything was done by me.

2017 GT PP Base model
Stock Head Unit
Active three way front stage:
JL Audio C5 6.5 inch woofer in doors
JL Audio C7 350cm 3.5 inch mid in doors (I swapped to premium interior door panels)
JL Audio C5 tweeters in pillars
Rear deck speakers deleted

AudioControl LC-6.1200 powers the front stage.
AudioControl D-1.800 monoblock powers 2 10 inch JL W3v3 in a Zenclosures box.
AudioControl DM-608 DSP feeds the audio signal to amps.

Whole car is rewired with 16awg speaker wire. PowerMaster 240amp alternator and big 4 upgrade under the hood. Probably overkill...but I didn’t want to take any chances.

0 gauge power and ground wires. Power wire feeds to a distribution block and another smaller fuse block which has a split bank for constant power and also switched.

The amp rack and subwoofers are all on quick disconnect wiring so I can pull it all out in about 15 minutes to shed considerable weight for track days.

All wiring is done right! OFC wire. Soldered any connections possible. Wire ferrules used throughout.

The project came out great and it sounds absolutely fucking insane! Primary goal was sound quality (but its crazy loud when it wants to be) which was achieved. I am still fine tuning the DSP so its a bit of an ongoing listen and tune. The last photo is a screenshot from my phone of the wireless dsp tuning software.

Very nice! I’d be curious to hear this setup. With quality components and install, if the tune is right it is sonic bliss.

Did you sound deaden the doors at a minimum?

Fairly extensive sound deadening with exception of roof and floorboard.

Where are the amps mounted? Shag carpet in your car?

Nice, that makes a huge difference. Have you had to chase down many rattles or panel vibrations that are audible?

The seat delete is a CM Components. Its not shag but I hate the material. Both fabric and whatever its wrapped around. I am currently sourcing my own materials to redo the whole thing. I am going to reuse the hardware and COYOTE Letters but make it all over with thicker paneling and probably alcantara.

Not really. No car is going to perfect as far as that goes but so far so good.

I bet it sounds amazing.

Off topic, but can you link to the wheels you have? They look awesome.

Thanks for the link. I may end up getting them myself. Is the offset as pictured or are spacers involved? Also, will an OEM centercap fit?
Yes, OEM cap fits. I have the full gt350r brake kit including rear knuckles which pushes out the rear so my wheel fitment probably isn’t the same.

How much CLD or CCF were you able to get on your doors? I had issues with fully "sealing" the open part of the outer door skin and then not being able to get the door cards back on. So I have the large holes still open. I'd love to be able to fully treat the doors as I'd intended. Did you take any pictures of the process?

I didn’t take any pictures. I used smaller pieces and tried to avoid areas that was going to make the door panel installation more difficult. I’d say I got about 70% coverage on the doors overall. I used Noico brand from Amazon.
