The Steeda jacking rails work on the 350, unscrew the bolts, and re-bolt, takes all of about 10 minutes. It will take more time trying to get the car up on jack stands than to do the install.

The pinch welds do work, there is a cut out that you put the jack in, the problem is that over time jacking up from this point will start to bend the pinch welds, its just the way it is. The jacking rails allow you to jack up the car from any point and can raise if from center and lift both front and rear wheels off the ground.

Make sure you get a low profile jack.
OP, to follow up my earlier post, this is the type of post deserving your "thanks".
I'm done posting in your threads.

Better yet

"Your thoughts and experience on the jacking rail install?"

"Are these bolts enough, back on the porsche and BMW forums those jacking rails used 2x as many bolts, this design is inferior"

"Will these jacking rails add weight?"

"Will my jacking rails rust?"

"Do jacking rails benefit performance, back on the BMW forums they used to add chassis stiffening rails"

I really think I hate you all for what can only be internet-hypnotism that made me read 5 pages of this. It's not even click bait quality, yet, here I am. I must be avoiding some important task elsewhere . . .

I will leave (never to return) with some personal experience tips:

1) Pinch weld insert jack adapters are cheap and minimize--if not eliminate--distortion of the weld.

2) I know this has been a subject in other threads, but make a habit of checking your filters, especially if you track the car. Even after torquing my filter it still came loose. At this point, I'm investigating filter relocation options. Generics can be had for $45-$65. Lethal Performance offers a Mustang / GT350 specific setup for $200+, but I don't know at this point how its a better solution than generic setups and therefore worth the price differential.

Cheers

The pools are all frozen. Just kidding, while most of Western Canada has snow I had the top down in my '65 yesterday.
Damn you Arctic_Ragtop, I vowed never to post in the OP threads again:lol:

'65 convert in the snow? Pics please. The one that got away from me that I regret most was an Ivy Green '65 convert, A code, with a white top.....

No snow yet! I know it's not a mustang but at least it isn't a BMW, I've got a '65 Beaumont (Canadian Chevelle) that has been in my family since new.

Please pardon my assumption!

SPECTACULAR vehicle. Thanks for posting the pic. What ya got under the hood? Great that it's been in your family since new.

396/TH400, I fuel injected it this summer, what a difference that made! Feels like it's has 50 more hp. It's fun, the family loves going for ice cream and doing donuts in it, just like I did when I was a kid.

I would love to see that MMR kit installed. I can't find any instructions or pictures other than just the parts.
