Drone but not that kind of drone. I'm talking about the sound of the exhaust and yesterday, I discovered that you CAN make her "drone" if you go slowly enough in a high gear.

Very irritating but easy to resolve.

I also like the other kind of drones. :-)

My flippant reply aside. Is the drone at cruising speeds - meaning 7th gear at 80 ish? or at 30 mph in 7th?

@OH3Cobra : I found that you can make it happen in the top four gears if you go slowly enough. That said, I had the exhaust in Track but even so, I have not yet heard it drone at cruising speeds. It's pretty much a very low RPM kinda thing and only occurs intermittently.

KB,
With the engine running and the exhaust in track mode, roll down the drivers side window and listen closely to the exhaust sound, then open the door and compare the sound. Supposedly this car has sound cancellation built into the audio system. It shuts off when you open the door.

I obviously missed that little ditty if it was in the manual, Earl but for sure I will check and letcha know. I will be amazed if it's true (and actually attenuates the exhaust sound,) but these days, who knows? :-)
