intro:
I wanted to do a review about the ISC Suspension N1 coilovers I just recently installed. ISC Suspension is an American Company out of Gilford, NH. ISO9001:2000R Certified and ARTC Certified. the N1 coilover is a single cylinder mono-tube design. the mono-tube dampening helps provide consistent valving and much less potential for cavitation over the twin tube designs. 3 valving options are available street comfort, street sport and track/race along with it being 32 way adjustable dampening you will be able to obtain a ride height of +1/-3" front and -.5/-3" rear pending on wheel size. Product comes with a 5 year warranty.

install:
the installation of this product isn't to difficult, I have never installed coilovers or even knew how to adjust before this installation. only experience I have was installing the lowering springs a year ago. it took me about a whole day with an extra set of hands to help (not needed). I personally used a micrometer to set the preload of 5mm to be sure I got it correct and most accurate. the rear is a little tricky being that our cars don't have a true coilover in the back end, you have to adjust between the spring and shock in order to get the desired ride height. I will be providing a well detailed install manual and youtube video to help aid others in the install in the near future.

Review: N1 Coilovers with Track/Race valving
wow! I am impressed with the ride quality the N1 coilovers maintain with the amount of performance gain it provides. squat on hard acceleration from a dig is almost totally gone. body roll is very minimal, wheel hop is gone. car overall just feels more engaging, ride is a little more stiff than the performance pack shocks but its a good thing imo. perfect amount of feedback from the car with no increase in nvh. doesnt sound or feel bad when going over bumps or when driving on these well paved California roads lol. I have the Track/Race Valving and the dampening set all the way to 32 clicks on the hardest setting and the ride is still amazing. this coil over is perfect for the daily driver looking for more of a drop then what the lowering springs offer, more performance without that terrible harsh ride everyone associates with coilovers. or a full built track car. I cant say enough good things about this product. oh and it msrp for $1288 PM for 15% discount code. note: "if you have the performance pack wheels and plan to drop more than 2" you may have to run a wheel spacer. this is nothing in relation to the coilovers rather the suspension geometry and wheel fitment of the chassis as it gets lowered past the 2" mark."-ISC

Car is at -2.5" front and -1.5" rear

You didn't start those wild fires just to get the perfect backdrop for your black & gold color scheme did you?

Do you have a build thread? That car looks awesome. I love the wing and spoiler.

You're car looks really good with these coilovers! I have the Eibach ProKit lowering springs and have been wanting to upgrade to coilovers. These are right up my ally!

Is it 100 percent bolt-on? How good are the instructions?

Thanks man:) oh ok yeah these will def give you that more aggressive stance.
Yup 100% bolt on...if you got PP wheels and go lower than 2" you will need a spacer to avoid rubbing...the instructions on install are good...we are making our own install video/manual which will tell you how to set the the height adjustment so you are atleast in the ball park of where you want to be on the first try...we should be done by next week and post on YouTube...i will post link here and in the DIY section of this forum.

Car looks awesome man! One thing though. Your 5mm measurement by looking at your picture is between the coupler that adjust spring preload and the coupler that locks the other coupler in place. The gap between those two will not determine preload?? Only the coupler under the Spring will and it should be zero preload but snug. Maybe I missed something?

He adjusted top collar to contact spring, adjusted middle collar to contact top collar that now will be the reference point for preload. Then he turned the top collar up 5 mm from the middle collar giving it the required preload. Then he would have tightened middle collar up to top collar.
