Had same issue I noticed few months ago...I wiped it clean and never came back

Whut ??!!So my car was at the dealership today getting the recall taken care of. I asked them to look at the spot I posted at the beginning of this thread. They claim this is normal. It's some kind of seals "sweating" from something to do with rear differential? They claim they took a bunch of things apart and there is no leaking. Not sure I 100% buy the explanation but I now at least have it documented in case anything comes of it.
Ok I'm wasn't the only one scratching my head with that explanation... :doh:Whut ??!!
Find a new Dealer with experienced Service department.
Front = engine
Rear = differential
An ENGINE leak or seepage isn't gonna be caused by the REAR differential...:lol:
Holy hell... and that diagnosis was at a Ford Dealer!!??
