That's a link to a Google search - a new trend seems to be sealing the transmission at the time of manufacturing, because someone thinks that doing a gear oil change will only introduce contaminants that wear it out sooner. In my mind this would make the transmission a disposable component...
Okay, cool. I thought I'd read something on here where there were some concerns... looks like it's maybe automatics that get this most often - perhaps exclusively?
