I noticed improved bumper alignment when lifting from the bottom of the bumper. It gives you the same Improvement as lifting/ pulling from the top. You could just add some support to the underside of the bumper . Maybe connect some heavy duty zip ties underneath the car between the bumper in the frame . No one would ever see it. It could remove some of the SAG out of it.

After reading all the horror stories about shop warranty repairs, I try
do all of my repairs. Of course if the car develop drivetrain issues, I would
have to take a leap of faith

Any place to tie to? You can attach multiples together to get the length you want.

Did I just read that we are suggesting to use Zip ties to hold a bumper cover in place on a $60K+ automobile??? I'm speechless.

I think you're a surprise should be directed at Ford for selling a $60,000 car with such shitty panel alignment. Not people trying to find a reasonable fix for it.

^This. You should be speechless about Ford's abysmal engineering and quality around the body and paint of a $60k car.
Ok, then apparently we are all driving a POS with "abysmal" engineering and quality. Yet, people keep buying these cars and I guess we have failed to get the word out to avoid these POSs. i was simply implying a zip tie fix is not a solution for any new car, let alone a $60k car. If we as a community have not worn the Ford customer service and quality dept out about this and have resorted to zip
tying the car together then we have failed. I have a 3 week old GT350 with rear bumper cover gaps. I will start the process of correction with Ford tomorrow and will not stop until it is fixed. I WILL NOT use plastic zip ties to hold my brand new car together. That is simply absurd.

Any luck or is it a must for drilling? I dont want to drill, so i may have to resort to the either packing in the polish or caulk bahahahah
Anyone wanna try the white latex high gloss caulk before me? Should be able to pull it right out if your not happy with the results.

Ford quality dept... that's funny.

Do you have that phone number handy? I would like to speak to them.

So...no zip ties, but drilling and latex caulk, check!

If it works it works, I personally don't get hung up on that kind of stuff.

Who knows, they could fix that shit with zipties and you wouldn't be the wiser.
