Is somebody changed out whatever was easily swappable at the top of the engine because of lack of competence it's not the engine's fault and is not predictable of future failures.
How many solenoids and phasers where changed? All of them? Sounds strange both the actuator and the thing being actuated fails at the same time altogether. All of the four couples, impossible.

Sure you want the same shaved ape that made the diagnosis in the first place replace an entire engine? That's not an easier task than changing a few spark plugs and some plug and play components.

Edit: On top of that, it's not that some engines from the same lineup are born problematic and others are not. These are not people and don't develop mental illness, these things develop faults.
Finding a fault a making a proper repair does not render an engine more prone to future failures.
Shaved ape 😄

Thank you!!! Appreciate your help! It was rough idling day before. The car has had replaced solenoids, cam phasers, spark plugs, and I barely got to 40k miles this week.
Sounds like it should be under the emissions warranty.

probably a water drain hole.
This is what I was going to speculate as well in case any water does intrude into that area. I've never checked on my Mach 1 but assume I have one down there as well 🤷‍♂️

If you are worried about the small hole in the bottom, I would be really worried about the large hole in the front …

Have you considered blocking the large hole off to stop water getting in there in the first place ?
