Not saying it won’t happen, but odds are not in your favor.

They have an allocation to begin with?

No, they said they could get another allocation....I dunno if it was an ask ford for a favor thing or taking an allocation from one of their other dealerships.

They did flip out a little when I asked for a base heritage, but they eventually said ok. I think that was a cost thing more than anything, deal should be at 5k over.

that being said I buy work trucks through them and buy 10 a year or so, they got my bronco fast after I switched my reservation to them. I got my lightning already. I had an early reservation but mine showed up on their first batch, and it was the first one to leave their dealership.

when do we suspect gt500 production and or ordering will end this year?

Based on everything I’ve seen and heard production is done in October and only a few scheduled for that month(200 I believe). Order banks have been closed for some time now. All that being said, can’t rule out Ford releasing a few more if they have parts and production capacity. Definitely a crap shoot. Look at last year, I ordered a late release allocation in early September that never got built due to parts shortages etc.

It's not going to come. Unless your dealer has an actual allocation, and your priority code is between 01 - 09 you are SOL and better start looking on Autotrader and contacting dealers.

You did all that business with them and they still hitting you with a markup?

Only way I see it happening is if the dealership is part of a large conglomerate of nation wide dealerships and they have an allocation in the company somewhere or actually have a dealer order coming. I doubt at this point they would be sitting on an unassigned allocation. Dealer order is the only realistic chance I think.

I know right? Its California and its totally nuts they seem to be getting these stupid markups. Them only marking it up 5k was their way of making up marking me up 5k on the lightning...that the salesman promised in an email at msrp. that the general manager would not let him honor....

sucks the world is like this now but what was I supposed to do decline the lightning I could flip for 20k profit over the principle... I am keeping the lighting for the time being btw. Plus I need a bunch of work trucks and the salesman has been good at getting them, which others have not been able to do.

I had an deposit and allocation at grangers for a gt500 but they did not get the allocations they did last year and I was like number 3 on the list.

The small town dealer where I got my Shelby from told me yesterday they had just received a notification from a broker guaranteeing. $15k over sticker on any GT 500 (base) , $8k over sticker on Bronco and $5k over sticker on Maverick pickups. There are apparently dealers in some parts of the country who still think they can still get crazy money.

So I had the 500 l ordered from a California dealer courtesy delivered to a dealer here in Kentucky. I paid 5k over but ordered early enough to get price protected, ended up paying 28xx over the sticker msrp. The delivery dealer here is a huge adm dealer, they were absolutely shocked I was able to get the car at that price. It felt good, even though it was an adm deal, to walk out of the same dealership who acted like they were cutting me a deal at 10k over on a base, (I believe their cftp went for 25 or 30 over) with the keys to my 500.

As far as the OP question, I'm not sure they are still accepting orders but I do know of a car that was ordered 8/16 and was assigned a vin.
