The changes from the 6S weren't significant enough for me so I'm waiting for the 8.

I agree, i am using the iOS 10 beta on my iPhone 6 and it is noticeably faster you should not have a problem. I'll be upgrading to the new iPhone since 16GB was a bad idea. I'll probably run into the same problem again though as picture and video quality increases so does the required memory.
Well that's great to hear! IOS 10 has a lot of great features that I would love to update to.

Exactly, pretty much its the new update that's new. no dramatic change to the current style.

I have never had an android. I was a phone jumper as I switched probably twice a year between Blackjack, Blackberry, Palm, Windows and the like. Ended up getting the original iPhone and was sold hook, line and sinker from the moment I turned it on. At the time it couldn't even do MMS but I didn't care, it was that good.

Since then I have switched to a completely Apple ecosystem and couldn't be happier. The original iPhone worked so good compared to what I had experience with that I figured their computers must be as good and boy was I right.

I will be getting the 7 Plus on day one as I've never missed a model and don't plan on it. I am not a beta user because I like the experience of a new device to also have the new software to cure my current phone complacency lol.

I just had to buy a Windows craptop to use the MX Bluetooth thingamajiggy to customize my car and truck like turn off the double honk. My god I could never go back lol, what a horrible experience lol.
Jumping from android to apple, I can never go back.:headbang:

Not sure exactly what changes you guys are looking for at this point, there is really only so much that can be addressed this far into the iPhone cycle, it's pretty much streamlined.

The new numerical phones are the complete hardware redesign, whether much different looking or not, the "s" years are simply updated versions. There is no guarantee where the phone is going for model "8" either but the "7" will be new hardware.

Completely your choice that's for sure and I'm sure you'll enjoy it either way :)

Exactly. And that it's not even official yet. There is no CERTAINTY with the rumors until apple announces it. And for people, like me, with a 6 plus... it'll be a definite upgrade.

Plus all this android/apple side-taking is like ford/gm. Nobody is right, nobody is wrong. Just get what you want, because they both have the same basic functions. As long as it has a camera and snapchat, we're golden. When one of them stops letting me send strangers pictures of my genitals, then we have a problem.

There's nothing wrong with it so I'll keep my 6 until it starts to get flaky and then get whatever is the latest and greatest. I just can't see any substantial upgrade or must have feature coming along until then

So the unveiling of the iphone 7 is Sep 7.

Anyone upgrading to the new Iphone? why or why not?

I think I am sticking with my 6S.
(use to work for apple)
I'll more than likely keep my iPhone 6 (with 128 gb). It meets my needs.

I'd only pay for an iphone 7 if it had something I really needed. I don't see that happening.

If anything I might move up to an iPhone 6s though, if I can find a great deal (must be a 128 gb model). I do like the "hello siri" feature on that phone... my phone will do it only when plugged into a power outlet.

I mainly use a phone for talking, texting, music, directions, and banking/investment apps.

I'd still be with Windows phone if Microsoft had banking apps.

I will and never buying android again. Every Samsung phone I had crashed, frozed and got super hot .My 5 year old iPad is still performing good.
I agree with you there... android is a freaking disaster.

I've owned Windows phone, android, Blackberry (old and new OS), and iPhone.

I carry an iphone and blackberry 10 daily. Carried a windows phone up until last year... finally needed some apps only available on ios/droid. But I play a chess game on my windows phone daily and keep it updated with the latest win 10 mobile (very nice OS, by the way....).

My android would lockup and crash all the time. Never had that happen with blackberry 10, windows phone or iPhone.

I like the blackberry 10 OS as well.. but no apps... and odd work/personal side (password management sucks but manageable).

I don't care for apple products (working with them daily), but the phone simply works. No issues... very stable.

I'm also running iOS 10 on my old iPhone 6 and am happily surprised with the great performance. I don't think i'm getting the 7 but not sure until we hear exactly what it will bring. Especially since it probably will still have old-fashioned displays that don't compare at all to Samsung's brilliant and crystal-clear OLED displays.

I sold my 6s+ because i hated the form factor and huge bezels and bought a Galaxy S7 for $400. Am really enjoying using it underwater in the pool and at the beach and also love Samsung Pay since you can use it EVERYWHERE. So nice not to have to carry a wallet. (Hate the fact that Apple Pay is still very limited).

I swap out the SIM card between the S7 and iPhone 6 occasionally, but the S7 is my main phone right now. I'm using the Nova Launcher and really like using Google Now too.

Also on the "s" the 3D Touch is a awesome feature in my opinion!.

I was surprised not many company's have Apple Pay, iv just used it at subway, McDonald's, and Starbucks. I thought it was more out there when my bank started offering Apple Pay.

I have access to a corporate 6s -- and used one for a while -- but never did figure out why 3D touch was so great. Heck, the mobile dept might have disabled it.

I actually turned in the 6s and got an iPhone 5C since it is small and built like a tank (IMO, of course). I mainly use the Blackberry Q10, with the 5C as a backup. All work phones.

The only thing I'm using 3d touch is for a trackpad purpose.
