Already on order. Jet black 128 7+. My wife and I leapfrog updates (I get new, and she gets last years - she doesn't really care anyway). Neck deep in Apple verse, phones, desk tops and lap tops - plus heavily invested in their stock; VERY right-side up. Good products, good company, great support.

Yeah, that was an old favorite - it may not be obvious, but I used the Watch charger to mark a circle on the cuff portion, and cut it out with a razor knife, so the sensors make enough contact to work as expected

Nice, yeah, we did back-and-forth updates a few times since we were an 12-month alternate update cycles (we've since sort of stabilized).

I downloaded ios 10... works great on my iphone 6 with 128 gb.... 10 is not a huge upgrade, but enough to keep me happy for a year or so.

I'll wait to see what they bring out the gate next year.

Not saying 7 is good or bad... I was thinking of a 6s anyway. Have to admit, the headphone jack messed me up. Partly because of one location where I use my phone, I can't have wireless turned on a phone (BT, NFC, etc.).

I could get a separate music device for that location though.

The camera on the 7+ looks amazing though. Glad they finally boosted the space.

In all, happy with the device.

off topic: hate Steve is gone... Apple events were so much fun when he was around. Now there is no "DDDAAAAMMMNNNN..... can you believe they launched that? I did not see it coming!" Seems so flat now, even predictable. Maybe that is what Apple needs at this stage in its life.

after loading ios 10 on my 16g 6+, I am noticing a substantial slow down and freeze moments. It's not enough for me to regret loading the new ios, but definitely enough to make me want a newer phone.

I've seen a little of that... but I work in software so I know a patch is on the way. Don't worry.

Hard to update an OS over so many different hardware devices and get it right the first time out the gate.. ask Microsoft.

They will get it right...

I know... it just always seems that there are inherent slow downs in the legacy hardware that just prod at you to get the newer version.
