It's a user controlled setting, you don't have to enabled it.

A CYA setting. Force the user to press a button that states they aren't driving or know its dangerous to use while driving.

User olli123 from the German forum reports he has also has noticed problems with playing music via Bluetooth over iOS11 on Sync2. Apparantly it doesn't show artist and title information anymore.

So if you're running Sync2 you might wanna delay updating to iOS 11. Or get an Android that just works :lol:

A great idea IMO. I'm all for less government control, but when dumb azz actions of others threaten the safety of my family, it's time to do something

the problem is that many of these features are blocked for the secondary passengers as well. For example, in my wife's Explorer, if I am driving, she can still not access the navigation screens to type in a new address to drive to. The car has to be stopped. Seems that it could detect a butt in the passenger seat and allow them to do the info still. Same will be true for cell phones, if she needs to look up an address while I am driving, will the phone eventually block her because the phone is at highway speeds? While on a train?
