Curious, for those with large mobile phones, where do you typically place your mobile, while you drive?
I use a wireless charger at home. So, I do not want a holder that requires a magnet; simply not going to use it. Hence, my question.

I throw it in the center console and forget about it. Fun time.

Right now I put mine in the tray below the switches for now. Looking to get the ProClip holder and mount for thin cases. Still not sure if I will like it sitting at the vent level. Think it might block too much air depending on whether the phone is vertical or horizontal.

I have an iPhone 11 ProMax. I lay it down in the cupholders. My car is manual shift, and a pain to drive with anything in the cupholders. The phone only sticks up 1/2" or so when laying down.

I just throw the phone on it’s side the long way in the cup holder. And whatever I drink whether it be a bottle of water or whatever goes on the passenger seat. I hate drinks in that cup holder any way. MT82 life makes it very uncomfortable to drive wIth.

first of all do you use CarPlay? If you do then put it in the center console or below the switches with a small usb. If you don’t use CarPlay then keep it in your pocket

Proclip with an iOtie fast wireless charger/ phone holder.
Samsung S20 but there's probably another half inch side-to-side in the holder and adjustable up and down. The power is plugged into the power point above the tray and has an extra USB port and the wire tucks behind the plastic trim. It's a very clean install and blocks almost no air. If you have guages it will block the far right one.

I designed and 3D printed a cradle that fits the phone in my specific case perfectly. I designed a clamp into the bottom that clamps the lightning cable into it just right to line up with the port. Slide the phone in vertically, Carplay starts automatically, phone is always charged, and it’s in the way enough that I don’t forget to grab the phone when getting out.
