Did Ford raise the Mustang Invoice pricing? My dealer has given me two official Vehicle Order Confirmation printouts dated mid-November and late December.
The December Invoice price was $800 higher than November's but the MSRP's were exactly the reverse. Because I want to use X-Plan, an $800 increase in the invoice makes a big difference in the purchase price.
This seems to be a good way to sabotage the Plan Pricing advantages.

Yes, already a few discussion of this going on in other threads buy I hadn't read that it was that big of an increase. I know specifically the X-plan invoice has increased (maybe in response to the amount of people ordering it?) But I thought it was by around 200.00. Have you reconfigured your car using Ford X-plan site to double check?

I repriced mine and it looks like a $200 increase.

Honestly, it was just a matter of time. Just look at how many people took advantage of the X-Plan loopholes on this forum alone. The pay $40-50 and get instant X-plan + incentives/rebates was too good to last indefinitely. I am sure there will be additional changes/increases.

I just repriced my order and it's currently $187 higher.

Update: My 'base' price for an EcoBoost Premium Convertible dealer invoice (2 weeks ago) was 34670/31983...differential $2687
Today (12/30) the build/price listing is 35495/33413...differential $2082
So the MSRP jumped by $800 but the Invoice jumped by $1430!

The price gap between MSRP and invoice is closing really fast!

I am now contemplating NOT ordering a loaded Premium Convertible...If Ford is raising prices by $1430...but not delivering vehicles for 10-12 weeks or longer.
I will probably wait a couple of more months to see what features might be on a 2016.

MSRP on EcoBoost and GT's went up $200 on 12.26.14. Invoice went up by a lesser amount.

In the past, those that Special Ordered using X-Plan pricing had their MRSP Prices locked in as of the day of the Order regardless of later price increases. Perhaps this has recently changed? That was one of the advantages of X-Plan pricing, price protection against Window Sticker creep.

Just ordered my Ecoboost Premium convertible. The Invoice price jumped by $1,400 from about three weeks ago. The list MSRP dropped by $800. I have not been tracking the non-convertibles so I don't know if there has been much of increase on other models.

X Plan rules state that you are locked in on the price of the vehicle at the time you place your order. Ford reimburses the dealer in the event of any price increase.

That was my previous understanding from past Special Order X-Plan purchases but one never knows when or if they change the rules of engagement.

I just checked the plan rules on the partnership site and it's the same rules.

The prices did NOT change that much. MSRP only went up $200. If you saw crazy changes in price like you said, it's because you compared very different equipment/options.

Update: It was the Ecoboost Premium Convertible. The Invoice increase ($1,400) was on JUST the convertible itself. That did not include any options. None of the options had changed at all, MSRP or Invoice.
I had checked Price & Build and my dealer in November and got a VOC printout. Mid-December...I did the same thing. The Invoice price had jumped by $1400 for just the car.
The MSRP had dropped by $800! I tripled checked these numbers...and with my dealer...he agreed that the increase was very large but had no idea why it had jumped. I have the printouts to prove it.
