Hey there -

We're the proud owners of a Twister Orange Shelby GT500... and we should probably say who WE are.

We're Edmunds.com - hopefully you've heard of us - and we've bought (with our own money) a 2020 GT500 to add to our long term test fleet. Our test fleet consists of a fairly wide array of vehicles we deem important and worthwhile to explore the ups and downs of long term ownership. Sorry, that was boring. We just wanted you to have some background on stuff.

Anyway, we wanted to share our ownership experience with the community as well as see how you all are doing with your own GT500's. We might not post much, but we'll be sure answer any and all questions you might have about our car, as well as what we do.

Most of the time, some guy named Kurt will be posting updates since the car has been assigned to him for the duration of its time with Edmunds. Hopefully we can take it to our test track soon and give you guys some numbers!

Beautiful car.....

The one thing about California is the beautiful scenic roads you have. On layovers in LA, I would rent cars and drive the canyon roads. Man.... To have a car like that in Cali.

I have shipped my 350 and 500 to a buddy in LA, flown in and driven Cali a couple of times. Then met up with the Shelby gang and "convoyed" to Las Vegas" for the Shelby Bash. Always a great time.

We drove the 500 home to Florida one year. The 350 got shipped back as I did not have the vacation time to drive her home.

Maybe its better I don't. I probably wouldn't have a drivers license anymore having my stable and those kinds of roads.

Welcome aboard Edmunds and look forward to reading and watching videos of your impressions. And how you feel about the value to the brand and quality as well. Many here are serious ICE AGE lovers and many many years of just that ICE vehicles. We are seeing change with the electric revolution and hope the ICE age flavor sticks around longer than shorter.
