First time Ford owner- what does everyone use to clean/protect the dash? I'm not looking for a crazy shine but don't mind a little.

It's very subtle. It looks like and smells like armorall but it doesn't have that greasy finish.

I'd use Aerospace 303 is you want a slight shine while still staying close to a factory appearance, it's also a UV protectant and will keep the dash from fading. I use Aerospace 303 on all my exterior plastic trim and it slightly darkens the plastic but doesn't add a fake shin like Armor All.

For the interior I use Nextzett Cockpit Premium which cleans but does not add any shine.

Chemical guys Inner Clean is awesome.

It doesn't leave any shine or coating. It doesn't streak or haze and drys perfect on its own. Your interior will look how it did the day it left the factory and it smells awesome.

I used this on the dash last summer. Huge mistake! It put a film on the windshield (outgas/evaporation from the sun) that was a pain in the ass to get off. Mind you, I like VRP and use it on exterior surfaces but won't use in on the inside again. Silk Shine is my go to for the interior now.

Haven't had outgassing issues with VRP but will try Silk later on.

Avoid silicone based anything. It will cause drying and cracking. My go to has been zainos cleaner and protectant that they advertise for leather. Lasts forever and a little goes a long way.
