Not a huge problem however , the turning knob for controlling the headlights, rattles like crazy at moderately high speeds and/or when bass from radio is playing.
Do you keep your sunglasses in the compartment below the knob? Or is that too far away for the noise to be coming from?

Having a rattle from glove box area, 2nd/3rd gear at 2000rpm-3000rpm. Anyone knows how to take the dash apart?
You beat to to that same question. I'm just about ready to attempt taking the panel apart myself. No idea what it looks like under there yet, but I was thinking of lining the underside of the dash trim with felt cloth or something. The sound I hear is like a sticking noise, like friction between metal and plastic.

I haven't used that compartment yet so it's still empty! But I'm 100% sure it's the control knob making the noise. It's basically just a plug. So I am thinking the outlet part(I don't know the technical name) that the headlight knob plugs into might be pushed back to far?

I am hearing a harmonic buzzing sound coming from the passenger side A pillar. With a passenger in the car I have narrowed down the culprit to the tweeter grill/cover. Not sure how to fix it though. If you apply pressure to it the noise goes away.

I hear a slight drone in the transmission at about 62 or 63 mph. Which, you know, lovely.

I'm taking mine by the dealership this Friday and hopefully this fix shouldn't take longer than 5-10 minutes .
Has your dealer received the part yet, Tony Reco? Send me a PM with your current mileage, best contact number, full name, and servicing dealer; I’ll see how I can best assist.

Mine is definitely in the surrounding panel, most specifically toward the right side where it narrows down. it has some good movement along with a resultant creak.

Although I think where it touches the lower metal panel, it also has some movement and creaking, but that my go away if the right side is solidified.
...
Have you taken your Mustang to the dealer yet, souprmage? Please also send me the above requested info.

It looks like your CSM reached out, slcoddity; did you get their message?

I have the exact same damn rattle!!

I have to touch the center part and it goes away, but comes back rather quickly.
...
I have the same noise, who do we complain too?
I have this exact same rattle... Well more of a a squeak where the two materials rub together!
My dash rattles a bit every once in a while. It is on the panel just over the list switches, as the dash touches the drivers door window area, And between steering wheel. ...
My dash where the center speaker sometimes rattle as well. It doesn't happen right away the car has to be in motion for a while and it almost sounds like crispy static from the speaker but when i push on it, it goes away. ...

I recommend speaking with your dealers about the noise, everybody. And also, (can you guess what I’m going to say next? ;)), please send me a PM with the above requested info: full names, best contact numbers, VINs, current mileage, and servicing dealers. I’ll check my resources.

I have slight rattles in the driver side dash area. I'm going to have the dealership look at it.

Another one checking in with the interior noises. I feel bad about taking it in though because I can't pin down exactly where its coming from. I only hear it going over light bumps like pavement strips. It sounds like its coming from the left side of the dash but I can't tell where. Also, I heard one coming from the center stack. They sound like plastic vibration noises. Its not the sunglasses tray, and I do not think it is the actual headlight knob itself, it sounds like its from behind.

It sounds just like my old Mustang which had 100,000 miles! That's not right.

Well I faintly heard it for the first time on the highway the other day. Not too worried about it. Im just happy the seat doesn't creak over every bump like my 2011 used to do.

Haha if only it were that easy
It was for me. Wishful thinking I guess lol...Good luck finding it. I hate any rattle in the interior.

I'm not entirely sure what I pushed on, but I no longer notice the noise. I doubt it'll last, but I can't really take it to the shop if it's not making any noise.
