I think that sums it up best.

For me, I want my cake & eat it too.

I want an 8 sec GT w/ 100% full leather interior with my heated/air cooled Premium seats. I want A/C in the summer, I want heated seats in the winter.

Yes, I realize I could go faster gutting out the car, swapping to a Glide/TH400, removing the A/C, etc....but then it would be a countdown until I sold it.

I'm much more interested in building a street-able 4 digit car that I can take my wife to dinner in on Friday night.

I'll gladly give up E.T. at the drag strip for comfort the other 99.9% of the time I'm driving the car.

I've been spoiled coming from the R35 GTR community and I'm not willing to take a step down in the amenities department at this point.
That is why I have a dedicated Race Car..............For me it works out better, since I like to drive mine everywhere.

I just can't have a "race" only car.

I'm starting to build a tube chassis street car. Big cubes and big turbos.

Its really not that hard. It just depends on how you go about making your power and how much you want. Crazy aggressive Na with 250-400 shots are definitely not street friendly. Everything depends on compromise. What you can live with and what you cant. When you want 4 digit hp to the ground turbos are easiest to street.

other than the converter, the car drives like a normal mustang. having driven his 2015 car (before the boost was cranked up) it drove almost identical to my mostly stock 2015, but with a bigger converter. never did i feel i was driving a "race car" for the street, but a street car, that if pressed would go fast.

Tube Chassis street car....... That always gets a laugh out of me when people say street car in conjunction with tube chassis. I mean my race car is a round tube chassis car but far from street able.

I don't think of anything with a tube chassis as a street car unless we are talking some kit Cobra.

Have looked into the pricing/performance of the slawko heads? I have heard good things about them.

I haven't personally, but I have heard they do good work from an engine builder I trust.

I talked to Comp @ SEMA, and it's coming. I already know of a few that are beta testing, but I haven't seen physical product available to the masses yet.

I feel confident we'll see product this year.
Should be coming pretty quick. comp is supposed to have the cores now, and they are in the works. At least they better be. My cc was charged earlier this week.

More than one person has told me they have had an order placed for over a month, with no signs of shipment from Comp.
