When drilling the holes, don't put pressure on your drill and use a variable speed drill. Use the lowest speed. The plastic of the bumper is very soft, so the drill bit will have no problem cutting a hole. As you know, you can always make the hole bigger but it's very hard to make it smaller if you cut too much.

When programming PAM 736-01-01, use '5' on the 3rd digit if you have an automatic, otherwise use '4"

By the way, all the sensors are the same so it doesn't matter which one you decide to use for each location as long as you turn them in the correct direction when installed and keep the polarity pins the same.

If you switch the polarity, you'll get an 'internal sensor failure' on forscan and if ANY one sensor fails or is not connected correctly, the whole parking aid system will shut down and will not provide any warnings whatsoever.

Does soneone know the BCM pins for the front parking aid?
Of course, this is not described in the workshop documents because it is not available from the factory.
However, at least two companies over here offer a retrofit with oem sensors and full Sync integration.
Resurecting an old thread, but anyone know an answer to this question? There are guys that offer OEM front parking sensors with full Sync3 integration. I would need to know where to run wires into the BCM to make the sensors work.

Thanks!

I know they are not OEM but it can be done. You can use rear oem parking sensors and run the harness to the BCM then program them with Forscan.

I was refering to the statement of @asci01.
You are asking the same I did before, where to connect that front sensors in a Mustang.
Maybe knowing a Ford model with front sensors and the same BCM hardware will answer our question?

Yes, I already know where to connect them in the BCM. I'll start installing it next month.

Could you elaborate where in the BCM you connect front sensors?

If you want to do it, you will need to insert wires into your BCM’s C2280F connector.

Pin 7: CTRL MOD. - PARKING AID #SENSORS FRONT +
Pin 21: SENSOR - PARKING AID # FRONT #(RIGHT OUTER)
Pin 22: SENSOR - PARKING AID # FRONT #(RIGHT INNER)
Pin 31: SENSOR - PARKING AID # FRONT #(LEFT OUTER)
Pin 32: SENSOR - PARKING AID # FRONT #(LEFT INNER)
Pin 35: CTRL MOD. - PARKING AID #SENSORS FRONT -

Cool. Thank you.

Any module programming involved?

I haven't gotten to it but I know you will need to go to PAM Module configuration. Then find Park Assist Channels and change it from 4 - 4 channels to 8 - 8 channels. Then, reboot the PAM module. Then, do PAM on demand self test. Finally, check for PAM DTCs.

Hey Guys
I have a question on this. I have a 2017 base ecoboost and I just got a color matched 2017 premium rear bumber with the sensor on there. If my car does not have the wires in my harness then i would need to purchase FR3Z-13412-G281T-B and replace my harness to get the pins before i would program? thanks
