True, but no "contact" at all can estimate oil pressure based on oil temps, engine temps, RPM. In essence, what the pressure would be if all was right with the world and the owner is using the right oil. Some cars do that, including models made by Ford in the past. Automakers sometime think enough customers will accept that. All I suggested is that someone claims they are oil pressure on their dash with just a single contact, they MIGHT be seeing an estimation as I described. Of course, they would be foolish to count on that being correct.I really don't know. But one contact can't show the pressure correctly.
