Did you had any problem with the air vents? I had a lot of problems with the fitment.

Just installed PP guages in my base 2019 GT. The wiring was there. Plug and play. Oil pressure guage works with no programing needed! Very easy installation!

In my case it was a change of setting from "sensor" to "transducer".

If anyone is looking for a PP dash trim I’m gonna sell mine this weekend. I don’t want to pay a protuner so I'll go back to stock. I attached some pictures, originally it was aluminum but I wrapped it, it is not perfect but you could remove it. Asking price is $150+shipping OBO.

Hi All,

Just over 2 years ago zackmd1 has a made tutorial showing how to install the PP gauges into standard model...

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38818

To summarize 30 pages and the status of both gauges after wiring them:
 • GT & EB: The oil pressure gauge will work after a tune.

 • V6: The oil pressure gauge will work after a tune BUT the cluster will show "LOW OIL PRESSURE" error

A few days ago I found the solution to overcome the low oil pressure error on my V6....It's a very simple change in the IPC programming, took me a long time to figure it out though lol

I basically changed the as-built data bit in the IPC which controls how the IPC detects the engine oil pressure, there are 2 options - CAN and HW...all the S550s have a default option of CAN, so I simply changed it to HW and now the IPC doesn't know anything about the oil pressure therefore it's not throwing any errors.

The change I made is:
IPC As-built programming
720-02-01: XXXX XXXX X7

Big thanks to Mike from MPT for the tune file!

Hello, I’m doing the swap to pp gauges and I have a 2015 Mustang GT Premium. The connector wasn’t in mine so I’m installing that also. I’ve been trying to find out if my oil Pressure gauge will work as keep seeing that I need a tune. I honestly don’t know from where I will be able to get that done. I have the Bama hand held and talked to the Bama tuners and they said they can’t do it. So now I’m scratching my head and wondering if there’s something I can do myself to activate the oils pressure. I have a mechanical gauge already installed so I’m not going nuts on how my oil pressure is but I would like the gauge to work completely. Any help would be great. Thanks.

But now, after every engine start, the car has the 'low oil pressure' light come on. I understand well, the pressure information is now used by the gauge and the ECU dummy 'switch' receive a pressure on null.

How can I disable this warning message ?

A possible solution : Turned off DTC P0522 (with HP Tuners) ? (Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Low Voltage)
thanks for your advices !
I have the same thing happen. Did turning off help? I have a GT premium.

Is this something you can change in the IPC configuration?
