INLET AIR TEMP @ IDLE

2020 gt manual, all stock

After a spirited drive for about an hour and a lot of stop and go traffic,
I noticed while idle in my parking lot that my Inlet Air Temp went up to around 140 degrees...
Everything under the hood is stock,
Can someone confirm this temperature is normal and expected after a long drive or if their s550 has also shown that range (at idle) without issues?

Wasnt it like 83f in LA today ? Spirited driving + traffic + idling in a lot what to you expect the IAT to be ?

It's fine. Everyone has high IAT's when you run the motor without moving. Once you get moving again, the IAT's will drop quickly back to equilibrium over ambient.

It's pointless to send it with any IAT over 120.

How so... ? the IAT only gets cooler when the car is in motion anyways and when you track the car it can stay in that range depending on the weather and rev range.
Who waits and watches the IAT to get below 120 before WOT
So youre telling me in the summer if you ever hit traffic you'll watch the IAT and make sure it's below 120 before flooring it..
