I’ve had new hydrolic lifters fitted along with bmr oil mod linking both banks together https://www.modularmotorsportsracin...e=product_info&cPath=4_30_49&products_id=1517
After works were done inlet cam was found not to be working…. Engine has been taken apart again to double check everything and everything is meant to be fine
I’ve had the wiring from ecu to solenoids checked and wiring and solenoids are fine… however ecu wasn’t sending a signal to the solenoids…
I reflashed the tune and it drove better… and a signal was being sent…. But I’ve no idea if it’s a full signal and what the signal should be to rotate the cams fully but after sending the datalog to my tuner the inlet cam is still not moving and still within the 1 degree range…
has anyone witnessed this… and could it be the ecu at fault? I’m stumped….
I will be dropping into auto electrician tomorrow to see if the signal has stopped completely again or what it’s showing
just so frustrating having a 2 tonne paper weight at the minute…
it’s a 2018 ford mustang gt. With built engine and standard cams around 920bhp when inlet cams are working… stage 2 whipple supercharger
I’m really hoping someone has come accross this or has some ideas
