I know this may seem like a dumb question but I've tried looking everywhere for a guide on how to install the injectors and can't seem to find one. Can anyone help? Just looking for a reference when I do mine this week. Thanks!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but i was searching for injector install tips since I plan on installing my ID's tonight as i wait for my Procharger to show up. That PDF mentions removing the factory fuel rail spacers. Is this necessary? I was thinking if you got replacement injectors specifically for your car they should be the same height? It surprises me that we would need to remove anything..

Also, to depressurize the fuel system, should i just pull the 30 amp fuel pump fuse and start it up until it dies?

Right or wrong I've changed two sets so far and I didn't depressure the system. I wrapped the quick connect in some rags and just pulled it off. It hardly made a drip. Just wear eye protection of course. As always your mileage may vary!

For anyone who is interested, just like jlstro3, I didn't depressurize the system. I just popped the fuel host off and had barely anything leak out. A ton of fuel will leak out of the fuel rail as you take the injectors out though, so swap the injectors in an area that you don't mind spilling some gas.

I just got a flex tune, is there any benefit to going to say the 47 injectors other than assuring i get proper fuel delivery? Is it just insurance? If i go to a GT350 mani will i need to for sure change the injectors?
