So you did, at least this time I have a Blend date, window sticker etc, so it's less of seeming lost with information and looks more concrete!

Yes, the Blend date should be the official build date, etis isn't updated yet, but I wouldn't expect it to, some people see a day difference between blend and build date, but a rough estimation is they're both around the same time give or take a day :)
I think the way it works is that the "blend date" is the date when all the bits for it are planned to be available on the line for assembly; the "build date" is the date when it rolls off the end of the line. If they start assembling your car near the beginning of the shifts, it will roll off on the same day. But a good proportion are "half assembled" as the line just stops where it is at the end of the shift when they turn the lights out and go home, and then it resumes the next day. So they are sometimes the same, and sometimes a day or 2 different...

As it stands my ETIS build date is 11/1 but my blend date on the window sticker is 12/1. However ETIS has bounced around a bit up to the 14/1.

I'm going to miss the obsessing when the car arrives.

Yeah i've just checked again, Window is 02/02, build isn't changed from 30.11.0002, but wouldn't expect this to until maybe wednesday next week.

Next week i'll probably be getting updates from Karen and Stacey when it's built etc (even though i'm still going to be checking almost hourly )

Something about me will miss the check ups, the annoyance and the niggles and the down right unhealthy obsession, i think it'll be cured by an unhealthy obsession with having the car... Most people think i'll shut up about it when it comes, how wrong they are!!!

I didn't realise this was that kind of forum. I'm just here for the Mustang chat.

I have no idea why everyone is even talking about how things will be when you get the car.

You only have a build date, once its built it will be in the dock for a few months as Ford ship the Stangs one at a time. We have a good six months of this thread before we get a 'I FINALLY HAVE IT' thread:lol:
