I also see Ford is doing 1000 rebate for Labor Day. Separate from the 1000 rebate + 0%... So, this should definitely help.

I may be wrong, but I think is only $1000 and the 0% not an additional $1000.
If is like that I will cancel my 2016 order.

I should be picking up my 16 this week. I inquired about any special financing for the 16's. The dealer said at the moment there is no 0%/72 months for the 16s but Ford in the last several weeks added other 16 models to the special financing. I am sure hoping the 16 Mustang will get added to the list. It will be my luck they will add the day after I pick up

What are the odds the '16 gets added to the list once we hit OK to buy?
I asked my local dealer that as I can't find a 15 I want. They said the 0%/72 + $1000 is for the 15's only.

They said they probably won't see any significant deals until at least Memorial Day 16; which sucks!

Just received my VIN # the other day and I was able to register as an owner using my VIN # on the Ford website (https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/sign-in.html) and at the bottom of the Owner Welcome page was this special offer:

Additional Offers
Up to $1,000.00 Private Cash Offer1
Offer expires: 2015-09-12

Certificate Number: 000720XXXXXX

1This offer is only valid for the customer named on the certificate. This offer is transferable within the customer's immediate household. For use on sales to individuals only; may not be used on commercial sales. Certificates may be used toward the retail purchase or lease of an eligible Ford or Lincoln vehicle. Only one certificate may be applied per household, per vehicle purchase or lease. Take new retail delivery from U.S. Ford or Lincoln dealer stock by 09/12/2015. Not all vehicles are eligible or qualify for highest amount shown. See dealer for complete details.

I am going to call my dealer to see if he can get this locked in for me and will update you on what they say.

** I would not recommend you register until a few days before you pick up your 2016 as any additional offers would then fall within your actual date of when you take delivery from the dealer**

Hope this will help some of you and I really wish that all of these extra incentives either come with a longer expiration date or they can all be locked in (I undersatnd the marketing aspect of using these to get people who are on the fence to actually purchase, but I also feel those of us who buy early and actually sell many cars for ford while driving them early should be rewarded)

Unfortunately you wont be able to lock it in. My dealer tried, and I contacted Ford order protection hq as well. Just have to hope to get another one after the 12th.

It's nowhere near winning the powerball. In fact I'd say its fairly common for someone with excellent credit and a good job history.
Yes a bank would be foolish to give those loan terms. It's Ford credit giving those loan terms. Their incentive to do so is for an individual with excellent credit and job history into a new ford they wouldn't have otherwise bought. Said person with excellent credit and a good job is now on the ford payment treadmill.
Here's my theory: Ford can do 0%/72+rebates, because it's easier for them to take a loss on '15 leftovers, as they can make it up by selling '16s at higher prices; it averages out. Bigger banks can also do this due to their overall loan default risk being closer (or equal) to nationwide/market default risk. In addition, in a declining securities market, bank capital preservation is important, so even 0% high-credit-rated loan bundles are worth something.
A smaller bank or credit union might not be able to do 0%, because they have higher rate of return demands from their clientele, as well as likely higher overall market-standard-determined default risk -- some of it because they may give loans to people at lower than big banks might lend to -- from borrowers with lower than the best credit scores (but by no means poor scores), because they may use other criteria to calculate risk, if lending to local, known borrowers.

I just logged into Ford's partner site and the EAA $750 offer is back. You can join the EAA and request a x plan pin and get $750 incentive. I used this when I bought mine in January.
Enter partner code EAA01 to see x plan pricing and there's a link to the $750 incentive.

So EAA setup is similar to MCA setup? Just pay for a one year membership and they send you a membership card? Do you have to be a member for a certain period of time like with MCA?

I would assume the $750 cash back is only good if you use x-plan pricing?

I don't believe there's a timeframe.

Yes, that's correct.

If you already have a vin but ordered using x plan can we sign up to EAA to get the $750 to apply to our order when car arrives?

I ordered my 2015 on November 17 and used my MCA membership to get an X plan pin. I joined EAA in December and got the $750 certificate which expired 1/2. I had my dealer protect the expiring certificate and used it when I took delivery on 1/23. YMMV
