I agree with you on all accounts. I could have got a better deal if I wanted to travel to a Koons dealer in the mid-Atlantic. But in the long run, between plane ticket there and gas back, I didn't see the point.
I also ordered my car to my specific specs, so I didn't have to worry about finding/locating my car or a dealer having to locate and deliver.
I wanted to save as much as possible because that means more $$$ for mods.
I don't have to worry about financing because I am paying cash.
You can't go wrong on the 0% for 72/ $1,000 cash back deal. I'm glad you got your Mustang and hope you enjoy it. I am a little jealous that you get to drive it for the next month and a half while I wait for VIN's, build dates, and estimated delivery times.
LOL...
yeah you pointed out the obvious. I am not a person with much patience but with fairly high standards. A big part of me was thinking of saving another year or two for a GT350 down payment. But knowing how hard it was for me to part with the down payment I would likely just pay off a third of my house if I had 40k sitting around.
it was a nerve wracking 24 hours trying to decide if I really wanted to do this. I do not need this car. It is my 4th vehicle. I have never bought new but it is part of the reason I have worked 650 hours of overtime this past year and did 725 hours last year. No debt other than my house and this car loan.
If I didnt do it now I would have been waiting a year.
I will not be doing performance mods any time soon. That is why the other two cars exist.
