What do you mean under the "wire"?
Usually the best and lowest APR`s are limited to those with FICA Scores in them high 700`s or low 800`s was (my) description of slipping (under the "wire") with the most favorable rates. Curious of what you thought I meant?

Yeah, the 2016's are 1.9% @ 36 months I believe.
Before the "FED" raises the Prime rate probably sometime this Sept. you can probably do better for a 36 month loan elsewhere if thats the best Ford Credit is offering.

40 points is a bit out of range but each of the (3) different Credit Reporting Agencies have their own formula to arrive at their FICA Score. Pull your report a month later, the numbers could be opposite from high to low or remain pretty much the same. My Discover Card`s monthly free FICA score which is culled from but one Reporting Bureau changes by about 10 points from month to month with no change in debt or activity. Go figure?

Pretty sure it's called FICO Fair, Isaac, and Company score.

Thanks for mentioning this. I'm considering driving out of state and I'd hate for this (the 0% interest) to be a hang up for me.

Anyone find out if other incentives or rebates will stack with this? I'd like to try and get a 750 brochure rebate if it'll stack.
Im pretty sure you can stack. Just worked a deal in Texas stacking 0% for 72 months plus 1000 cash back, the 750 private cash offer and 500 recent graduate rebate. 2250 in rebates. I'll let you know once I get their paperwork on the car.

Went down to my dealer today. They basically said incentives are VIN specific and they won't know for sure until the car arrives. Its bullshit.

I don't believe this to be correct. They pulled me at 740 and I got a 0%.
We've seen customers with credit scores in the 600's get 0% financing from Ford Credit quite often. Ford looks at much more than the credit score - they are also very interested in prior car loan repayment and the structure of the new loan (loan to value) to evaluate potential risk. For example, someone with a low credit score, but who has paid prior car loans on time and has solid cash down can often get the 0% deal with Ford Credit.

I can beat that at my credit union for 72 months. Just shop around and the rates are out there.
