because they are lying unless you are getting an LE
Right, because they don't know the difference between an LE and a GT/EB/V6.

Way too many dealers are clueless about the cars they sell. You'd think, it being their job and all, they'd spend a little time researching the cars when the come out.

Tell them to read the print and show you where it says a Mustang GT/EB/V6 is exempt.

I imagine when they announce the MY16 and want to move all the 15s leftover.
Keep in mind, the GT350 will be exempt from x-plan and rebates. No bargains there.

You guys just saved me $1,000 as I found another dealer that had the exact same one on their lot BUT with the bad assed red leather trim that would take the X-Plan offer. He did laugh though when I brought it up to him though :)

Awesome!!! I'm glad you got a good deal. Pics or it didn't happen! Congrats!

My dealer is telling me that X-Plan does not apply to the Mustang GT, why do I get the feeling that they are lying to me? Is this true?
They are lying to you. You can probably get 250 witnesses off this site. I'd be one of them.

Did you get the $1000 Owner Loyalty cash I just posted about? Details, I have a Mustang but didn't finance through FordCredit, sometimes that is a stickler. Does it combine with X-plan? Going to ask my dealer soon, thought I'd get a faster answer here.

Damn you iCloud damn you

For the EAA X-Plan +750 dollars off, how long do you have to be a member before you get the PIN/ecoupon? I can use the ecoupon with my current X-Plan PIN from MCA if I already put in an order? Anyone know?
Did you get an answer for this? Do we have to be EAA members for more than 60 days (as in MCA) to get the pin for the xplan price?

Just now I realized that all these incentives are available and my car is on it's way. I'll try to convince the dealer to give me xplan pricing, if I can get my hands on one xplan pin without waiting 60 days.

OMG, how many times has that been answered in this thread.

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A MEMBER FOR 60 DAYS PRIOR TO GETTING YOUR PIN.

You can get a pin the day you sign up. You have to have a 60+day membership. THEY ONLY SELL 1 YEAR MEMBERSHIPS.

Sorry for yelling...

PS, they sometimes want a membership card though, and that can take 3-4 weeks to get, but some didn't have to show a card, just email proof.

You don't have to be an MCA member for 60 days. It has to be at least a 60 day membership (and the Mca and eaa memberships are 1 year at a time). There is NO 60 day waiting period. You just have to show your membership card.

thanks guys! And sorry for multiple postings on the same issue. It's just that my dealer didn't tell me about any of these incentives... I'm furiously reading through this post, but I'm still on page 14 :)

So for $40 it seems I can get the $750 eCertificate (EAA) and the xplan pin today (online). Although it will be up to dealer to honor the xplan pricing. Is this correct?

Yes, not all dealers will accept it. For a GT it's worth about $3k, so worth the effort. The $750 off expires 1/3/15. You normally want to tell them it'll be X-Plan prior to placing an order. If the dealer won't accept it, go somewhere else that will.

Never mind about the $1000 Loyalty cash unless you are coming out of a RCL Lease. I thought I caught all the fine print but skipped right over that part. I just looked at the part that said Purchase OR Lease with regards to the new vehicle.
