My dealer is telling me that X-Plan does not apply to the Mustang GT, why do I get the feeling that they are lying to me? Is this true?

It definitely applies to the GT. They are for sure lying to you. I believe though any dealer has the option to not offer x-plan. I would find another dealer maybe.

Find a new dealer. Many of us are using X-Plan on our 15's, maybe he don't know what he's talking about.

For your reference. Those prices do not include the $825 destination charge and the $100 dealer fee or whatever.

Not every dealer has to participate from what I heard. Mine said "no problem" and I got the base GT with PP for $34,233 out the door. That included all the fees and tax.

if they don't take report them to Ford. Then go to another dealer. My dealer prefers Xplan over the 500 over invoice we agreed. Saves me at least 250 overall

I ordered mine, took a couple of trips to the GM to get the X-Plan order in. At first they came back with an MSRP price printed with the options etc, then pen written X-Plan price from the GM of the approximate price it was going to be. This price was $37,955 and he mentioned it might be "a bit more or less depending on the final invoice price from the factory". At that point I took out my MCA card, gave them my generated PIN, gave them a printout of the X-Plan build from Ford Partner redirect site and walked over to the GM's office with my sales consultant. The dude looked like a deer in the headlights, printed out the price with X-PLAN to match $37,475 and said all you will owe when you come back is sales tax and tag transfer.... I said thanks, signed, gave 2k deposit and walked out.

I know there's some exclusive rebates and private offers out already. When do you think we will see some kind of rebate from ford- maybe 1,000 or 1,500?

I imagine when they announce the MY16 and want to move all the 15s leftover.

You guys just saved me $1,000 as I found another dealer that had the exact same one on their lot BUT with the bad assed red leather trim that would take the X-Plan offer. He did laugh though when I brought it up to him though :)
