I don't follow chevy much, what the hell is a zora, lol
The rumor is ZR1 will be TT with 850hp and the Zora will be a TT hybrid with 1000hp. There's an E-ray coming first that is hybrid LT2 with 600hp that fits in between the stingray and Z06.

This is from the article:
The Zora will use the twin-turbo V-8 from the ZR1 and the hybrid system from the hybrid—E-Ray or whatever it ends up being called. If you figure on 850 hp from the gas engine and 150 hp from the EV components, that gets you right to 1,000 hp. What if each motor produced 150 hp? That would be 1,150 hp. Yes, we're speculating, as Chevy is super tight-lipped about this monster C8.

Now that is what I believe one of the 500 versions was supposed to be like. Due to cutbacks and almost project cancellation, we are lucky to have what we have now.

Anyway, something like that would be very difficult to get a hold of I'm sure.

Looks like the base model can be ordered with full Z07 aero, recaros and carbon fiber wheels. Not sure if the adjusted suspension in the Z07 package can be ordered separately.

I can barely fit 2 sets of clubs in my GT500, still no word on the new Vette. My love affair with Mustangs started at a golf course. I was a kid there was a red 65 fastback with a brown interior, 4 speed I've never forgot it. The new Vette is cool, I'd love to drive one but I'll stick with Ford.

Fantastic car. no use for a 2 seater for me, plus GM hasnt done anything properly in my lifetime, so I expect very little real world

It should be a very capable car that can hang with and beat a number of cars in the $200K-$400K+ price bracket.
Handling, weight and power from a very flat torque curve makes for an extremely potent package.
Bringing the price in at anAmerican affordable price is what Detroit has been very good at. Not cheap just affordable.

GM typically introduces at a lower price and then raises it the next year. The C8 Stingray initially MSRP was $59k. I am guessing between $85-89k for intro, and then add options from there.

A few of the top selling dealerships are going to sell at MSRP....now as for the rest of the many dealerships, you could very well be right. I have my deposit in at a dealership that will sell at MSRP...now as for when I may actually get to order.....there is no telling lol.

Real world pricing will be 150k+ or essentially 70k more than I paid for my 500. For an additional 70k it better be a whole lot faster which it appears likely is. Good job Chevy!
