I'm admittedly wussy re: hot weather :p
Me too. It's one of the reasons I got rid of my track bikes and plan to run my car every now and then instead. I could only get in about 10 minutes of track time per session before getting light headed in the summer at t-hill.

What shop is doing the suspension work for you?

Did you have any issue with sound at Laguna? Did you need to lift up the hill out of 5, or could you go all out?

Car is looking fantastic, BTW!

-T
Happy to report no meatballs for sound, and I drove w/o adjusting for sound!

EDIT: I didnt hold wot as long as I might hope to eventually however

Thanks for the Kudos..

I hope the car is not getting shabby mechanical work like I have had to suffer in the past, just drove 4x2 hours to Monterey to pick up my car with a new clutch and it was not driveable.

Edit: incredibly shabby

Edit2: avoid Cypress Coast Ford at all costs. They are criminally bad.

Some good news at least

Someone recommended the following as part of the build, so I got it overnighted to the shop tomorrow! Unfortunately, car is in Monterey haha

Steeda S550 Mustang Adjustable Rear Toe Links

And these arrived today :D

EDIT: These are mighty fine
Performance mod, not really for weight reduction and thats fine by me :)

I'm curious to hear your impression of the cf driveline. I was going to order an aluminum driveline from Steeda but they said guys running them were getting NVH so I kept the stock one.
No noticeable NVH, but to be fair I got the exhaust at the same time.

edit: the exhaust tripled the sound, so...

I was just looking at those tires today on Tirerack. Looks like a great bank for the buck tire, and I wanted some reviews on a track. Let us know how they are! I'm sure going to be WAY better than your stock pirelli's. Those Avanti wheels look great too.
They are good... potentially great even, need more experience- a 2nd day would be nice :D

They seem to gum up less than RE-71Rs, but I have not tried the 71R tires on the Mustang yet so I am comparing 245/40/17 on a 2600 lb car to these. I also have not tried them after a heat cycle.

My best early guesstimate is that these tires have 80% of the grip and 150% of the wear. Total guesstimate, and an easy guess because thats how the curve seems to work. thought it might be worth a mention.

More to follow after 2nd day

Thanks for the help. I mostly understand your grip vs. wear percentages. THANKS:thumbsup:
