I'm not too sharp on the offset/fitment issue

On any car I feel like I'm missing something with regards to how to determine what I need, but specific to an S550 GT non PP car. What would be the offset range for a 19x9 in the front and a 19x10.5 in the rear. I am looking at a set of Weld Laguna's and I want to make sure the fitment will be right. I think the set I am looking at has a 25mm offset in the front and a 55mm in the rear. Will they fit or am I barking up the wrong tree?

The way that I try to remember is that as the offset goes up, the outer (and inner) wheel edge shifts to the inside. A 9-inch front wheel at 25mm offset should put the tire just about flush with the fender edge. A 10.5-inch rear wheel with a 55 offset may be slightly tucked inside the fender edge. It depends on the tire and the rim. Those offsets are certainly in the right range and if they're what the supplier recommends, I'd go with them.

I run 9.5 inch Savini wheels with 30 offset front and rear and I'm very happy with them.

This is a good site so you can compare stock fitment to aftermarket fitment. On a 10ā€ wide wheel with a +35 offset up front (what I run in summer) I’m pretty flush. +35 to +40 at 10ā€ is going to get you a flush fitment. So at 9ā€, a +25 should get you pretty flush to the edge as Hippie mentioned. Agreed also that +55 on a 10.5ā€ wheel will tuck a little bit but not too bad. Another example, most 11ā€ wide wheels for S550 rears are a +50 to +52 offset and those are pretty flush. So you may need something like a +45 to +48 to get you all the way there on a 10.5ā€ wheel. +50 would be really close too. Can always add a 5mm spacer on the +55 wheel too.
