Congrats, but it was a Stock order, not Retail.

The first Retail orders were given Current Build Weeks of 10/19, and wouldn't enter production until at least that date.

Yours had an estimated build week of 10/5:

"currentBuildWeek": "2014-10-05 19:00:00"

But still... congrats!

Not sure that was a good idea, since after OKTB on 9/22 Retail orders are given priority over stock orders, or so I understand.

Pretty sure. I don't think any first-round Retail orders got a build week of 10/5.

Your dealer may have switched it to Stock without letting you know. If you find out for sure, let us know!

If it's retail then you are one lucky dog because I ordered almost the exact same car/color/options/etc on 5/27 and won't be built until November.

It might be because my dealership won a few awards from ford, and also its like 20-30 minutes away from the plant apparently.

Wait maybe I am missing something. My summary on COTUS got a VIN a few weeks back. I was under the impression it would also be updated with a build date. Did yours ever get a build date, or did it just one day enter "In Production?" This has given me (perhaps false) hope that I won't get buried even further in the depths of the wait list.
I ordered the day after the order banks opened, but my dealer would not order as dealer stock (not many choices here on Hawaii), and then didn't actually enter the order until they got their allocation, which means my order did not actually go in unti 6/10!

Your car gets a "in production" update the thursday before the week of your build date

Build week of 10/26 for you, and "scheduled to day" on 10/27...
