Not an in house body shop but I have had several of my personal cars done at International Body Shop on Lake street in Elmhurst IL. They do body work for all the dealerships around Elmhurst and Bensenville, they tend to be a little pricey compared to other body shops but there work is phenomenal.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep them in mind but for now I'm hoping to get this done at a Ford dealer since it sounds like the customer service manager will be able to lean on them to make sure the job gets done correctly this time.

Quality Bodyshops are the absolute hardest thing to find

yea, just so you are aware, bodyshops are in no way conformed to Any Ford standards....they are literally just any other bodyshop. If i was you i would look for a really good independent shop and/or custom race car/builder shop. There is a place that pretty much rebuilt one of our service vans and did an amazing job, they strictly do oem repairs.....in homer glen i would def take it there over a ford dealer. Danrich i think is there name.....but they have sunde turned corporate.

Alright guys now that the city stopped burning and it appears you have to be over 74 to die from the rona, let's get something goin and try to salvage what we can from 2020.

I'm sure most of us are all over the Illinois area so it would be premature to start picking a meet up spot. So post if your interested, where your from, and what you drive I guess. Eco, v6, gt, gt350, gt500, s197, classic... what ever you got I want you there.

I'd like to have a meet up, possibly grab a bite and or beer, take some pictures, talk cars, and go for a cruise. Then afterwords the younger crowd or more mischievous of the bunch can go out raise a little hell.

This way we can have a civil meetup for the more cars and coffe crowd while still going out afterwards and having some fun for those that wish to partake.
