SCCA events at Autobahn is what I did first! They’ll pair you with an instructor too which is the best thing in the world your first time out. If you feel like driving out to Michigan in August … there’s a bunch of us doing Mohawk Track Experience at Gingerman! Not sure if there’s space left but worth a shot!

SCCA goes to Blackhawk and has track nights in Beloit..
3 groups and no lead follow or instructor.
Novice group is super chill and it’s a shorter track so it doesn’t Tare up your brakes too bad.
I went last year and got 4 - 20 min segments in

As others have said, check out SCCA events at Blackhawk and Autobahn. Typically get a little bit of a discount on the event if you purchase an SCCA membership (it’s like $50 if I remember right). Gingerman is a cool track in MI and Road America is just a couple hours north in WI. All will have events or track days with novice groups.

I have yet to take my Mustang out but I went to an event at Gingerman with my buddy and did that track in his C6. I’m very much a novice and it was a blast. Instructors at all of these places are really good and will ensure you are safe but also having fun (and learning).

It's like the last week of my kiddo's summer vacay and I think it'd be super cool if we could hit up a track day together. I shot the organizer a note asking.

I think I spoiled myself with RA & Autobahn because I did not like Blackhawk. The upkeep at the other two circuits is significantly better all around.

Hi all - Does anyone have a go-to spot for dyno pulls? I'm not trying to do any tuning, I'm just curious where I am now with a full PP2 + Corsa Xtreme Sport Cat-Back. Hoping I can just pop in on a random Saturday to put my mind at ease...

Some guy in my office, who gives me a ton of flak for being the guy that drives a loud Mustang to work, just got a non-AMG Mercedes SUV that he claims is an absolute missile. While I know I'm faster, I now suddenly have a lot of pride riding on my mods getting me to more hp than his stock family hauler .

Yeah the hard drive crashed, we should be back up and running next week. Car list is getting close to 20 cars. If the party falls through let me know.
