@rush0024 @Inthehighdesert @MAGS1 we were all pretty close with our predictions. I see it as $86k plus fee. Rush says $90,300. Six to one...half dozen to the other. As a buyer who paid that BaT fee, I like to not acknowledge it because it stings.

This is a nice buy for the winner. The seller didn't get beat up. All our Rs are holding some value.

Agreed, nice buy. I thought the mileage might keep the price before fees around $80k, so not too bad. Nice to see there’s still a good demand for these cars

Not sure if you guys noticed, the buyer was after that R to go with the iconic cftp he bought back in Jan. . The late model R’s will stay solid and go up from here in my opinion. Obviously I’m biased but that’s a very solid number for right before xmas and with 8k miles. Not that 8k miles are high in the least.

yea, I saw that too…can’t deny that pushed the price, even the buyer admitted it 😉

The second place bidder bowed out at 85K. So, that’s pretty solid still. The nice examples, especially the 20’s bring all the money. Pretty impressive considering the cars been out of production for four years. All the R’s will stay solid which is a good thing. Show’s how good of a job Ford did with these cars.

@rush0024 How many miles are on you R? 10k miles here.
I have around 6.600 miles on her.

Had about 2,600 when I got the car 3.5 years ago.

She's all wrapped up in the garage right now trying to stay warm.

@wingnutt You're my hero, I wish to eventually reach your numbers. 69k~ish miles correct?
lol, yes sir…about to click 70k here soon, just did a 500 mile round trip. To be fair, I bought her in 2020 with 10k on her, so only 60k are mine 😬

first one is local to me. That poor car has been to every dealer in the area it seems. Lots is work but wow why. AC, starter, cat, ignition coils (speaks to an engine misfire concern), transmission, clutch, rear ended, odd tire replacements (one or two at a time). That’s not a lot of miles to require all that work.

The big clue to ownership in that list is the odd tire replacments.

Looks like it's this car.
