Okay, to be fair I've done 2.5 track days but the car (2017 GT350) is only 3 months old! The pads are near the squeal strip. The rotors already have cracks originating from the drilled holes. (pictures pending)

I see I can get a set of OEM front pads for ~$300. Now I don't have any qualms with the OEM pads in terms of performance, feel, and drivability but they seem to wear too fast (opinion).

What is the answer? What's the best solution known so far? I know the options but I want to know the answer. What is the best balanced (daily drivability/track performance/durability) brake pad? The OEM prices don't seem too bad but I don't want to waste my time if there is something significantly better out there for a similar price.

I am in the same boat minus the cracked rotors. My pads lasted 7,000 miles only burning up probably 20-25% life. After 2 track days, I have less than 20% remaining.

I ordered a couple sets from G-Loc

brakes and tires....sacrificial. If you like the way they perform, I'd just chalk it up to cost of ownership. Curious if anyone comes up with proven performers that outlast the stockers but I'm suspecting it's going to be a wash.

Which ones?
Depends on the type of driver you are.

I like to brake as late as possible and am ok with pad and disc wear.

I run DSUNO front and DS1.11 rear. This setup has a ton of initial bite. But is easy to modulate.

I'd run the DS1.11 front and rear for more of an endurance setup. They will last quite some time and are friendlier to discs.

I like to brake late and hard as well on track. Are you on stock Super Sport tires? Do you drive normally on the street with those pads?

I'm guessing DS2500 or DS1.11 is the answer? Do you know if the DS1.11 is streetable? Decent cold bite and/or quick to warm up for normal braking? Which lasts longer technically? THANK YOU for this link.
You could technically street any of them but you'll hear some squealing.

On my 350 I run DS2500 front and rear on the street and then swap to DSUNO front with DS1.11 rear.

The oem pads on the car look and perform like the DS2500, Ferodo makes a lot of pads for oem platforms so I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd save your oem pads and just swap back and forth to the race pad.

The DS1.11 will last longer as it is more of an endurance pad.

The DSUNO will have a harder initial bite but will brake like the DS1.11 after the intial portion.

These pads work beautifully.

I'm also running the speigler SS lines which line up perfectly.

I drive with ds2500 front and rear on the street.

I'm on RE71R 305 all around now.

That DSUNO front and ds1.11 is going to be your best bet.

How long will the DSUNO run. I also dont see a DS1.11 Front pad on the site? id rather go through pads then rotors.
