Hello, my name is Kevin, and I bought a :ford:.
Ford was a four-letter-word when I was growing up. Grandparents on both sides had a hand in working for General Motors, which directly drove which types of vehicles my family would continue purchase.
Five of the seven vehicles I've owned were all Chevrolet (S-10, Cobalt, Tahoe, Cruze, Corvette and in that order). Then recently Fiat-Chrysler really turned up the quality of their vehicles and I jumped on the opportunity to buy a Ram 1500 on the cheap. I loved that truck and did it's job, but it had to follow a Corvette. The Corvette was given up because it was too much of a compromise as a daily driver for me, but I wanted a sports car again.
Last week I drove a Camaro and after getting out of that cave I hope never to be trapped inside one again. My friend told me I should look at the EcoBoost Mustangs. I fell in love (especially after the amazing standard features list and visibility) and chased around the state of New Mexico for a Guard PP EB M6. Everyone wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, so I gave up. Then out of nowhere, I found a 2015 GT that was USED and in my price range at a Chevrolet dealership in town. I went, drove it, bought it, and couldn't be happier. I don't know why I didn't check out Mustangs sooner, as I've always argued that they are the best sounding American V8s.

Mustang
I picked up the Mustang with 6000 miles. Previous owner had thrown on an X-Pipe and Cherrybombs. They are horrible above 62mph. This car is my daily driver, so I've ordered the FRPP Touring mufflers to quite things down a little. I've ordered Shrader's Rear Seat Delete so that my dog has a flat space to lie down on road trips. Since it is a DD, I'm really glad that I was able to find one without the larger PP wheels. I like the look of the 18s and really appreciate their ride quality, as well as the accompanying all-season tires.

So far I've already picked up a ton of useful information from the forum as a lurker and I hope that continues now that I'm a registered member.
