Thank you so much, I have pin tests to do between plugs so hopefully I can figure out what’s happened :like:

7 weeks on from the initial problem, 3 different people looking at it, damage done by one and paint needed, I’m no further on, still the same problem, I think it needs burnt, no one can help me, I’m so frustrated :(

I know you said in an earlier post your local dealer is a nightmare, but if you haven’t done so already (didn’t see an earlier post mentioning it) it might be time to flash it back to stock and drop it at a dealer. (Even if you have to go to another town to find a competent one.)

Feel bad for you man, 7 weeks is a long time to be searching for a mystery problem.

thanks :) I flashed it back to stock early on, a retired Ford engineer who loves this kind of thing is one of the ones that had a look, he undated software in all the modules from TSBs and is seeking advice within the company, I just can’t take it to a Ford dealer, none here are competent/willing to do what I ask……actually find the problem without just throwing parts at it.
I’m going to try an auto electrician, there has to be a wiring fault somewhere, all pin tests from Fords workshop manual check out ok however, but the fact I was sideways when it happened can’t be a coincidence, something is rubbed, pulled etc.

Do you know anyone with the same vehicle? Swap ECM and see if it's the issue? I had VW Jetta, NEW, and it was throwing codes.. They had the car for a month and replaced the wiring harness, throttle sensor, etc.. and as a last resort changed ECM.. and it was the problem.

Unfortunately I don’t, good idea though!
