Ask and you shall receive. The new finish being introduced here is IPA Bronze.

Let us know if this helps!

Wow, been away on vacation and came back to this info. Normally I take months to figure out which a/m wheels to fit on my vehicles, particularly ones suited to occasional HPDE days. You guys at HRE/Flow Form are the best and have saved me lots of time. I've never owned but always wanted HRE wheels and this set (19's in a square or close to square setup please) will be the first. Looking forward to them...thanks for taking the time to do them up and can't wait for 1) my car and then 2) these wheels!!

My thinking on wheel and tire sizes for the new Mustang is that Ford's engineers know the car's characteristics better than anyone and their own "Performance Pack" configuration with 19-inch wheels very likely represents the optimum after exhaustive testing and analysis.

The Mustang will be a year-round daily driver for me so summer tires are out of the question and IMO, the black Performance Pack wheels don't work with my color choice (Deep Impact Blue). I plan to replace the OEM tires with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 all-seasons in the same Performance Pack sizes: 255/40ZR19 front and 275/40ZR19 rear. Likewise, I plan to replace the OEM wheels with lighter, better-looking 19-inch aftermarket wheels one size wider (9.5" front and 10.0" rear) to match the tread width profile of the A/S Michelins (9.6" front and 10.0" rear) and accommodate wider proper tires available in the future.

So are you saying any other tire or wheel size will hinder the performance of the mustang? Im sure a lighter wheel with a sticker tire will increase performance.

I'm saying I trust Ford's engineers to come up with the proper sizes for the wheels and tires on the new Mustang. The Performance Pack (with 255/40ZR19's on the front and 275/40ZR19's on the rear) was designed to out-perform the Boss 302 which was designed to be the best-handling Mustang ever. That is good enough for me. Others may prefer the widest possible tires that won't rub and I respect those opinions also.

I agree some lighter wheels, to reduce rotational weight, will improve the way the car drives. My 2011 has Michelin Pilot super sports 265/40/19 up front with 19x9 wheels, 275/40/19 on the rear with 19x9 wheels. It is a great combination. Drives so smooth, very quiet, handles great, and is even awesome in the rain.

The front Michelins are just a little bit taller and wider than the Pirelli's and think are a better size for the front. I wish Ford would stop putting the POS Pirelli's on our cars

Ford's engineers are aiming for your normal joe shmoe to give him a balanced middle ground experience for ride and handling, not optimized for either. When most people get new wheels and tires, they're trying to tune the car for their specific wants, optimizing the car to suit themselves.

Average people make up the majority of people, but most enthusiasts take up the skinny bits of the bell curve.

Ford first builds their Mustang, I then take their Mustang and build my car out of that.

Not sure I agree that the Performance Pack Mustang GT represents a compromise to appease the "normal joe shmoe". The car seems quite "enthusiast"-oriented to me; but hey, you should definitely go for it to get the vehicle you want.

The wheel/tire choice is certainly slanted toward performance, but there is no doubt that it is still intended to be a compromise between performance, noise, cost, ride compliance, fuel economy, etc.

Just looking at the size of the wheels/tires on the forthcoming GT350, an even more enthusiast oriented model, should give you a hint about tire/wheel sizes and performance potential for this car (295s front and 305s rear). Obviously larger ones could be beneficial.

That being said, I do believe that the GT Performance Package has been tuned specifically for these wheels/tires as part of a complete system. Changes to any aspect of that 'system' should be done carefully to ensure that the factory handling/balance is not upset.
